Joe Wiederman | Technical Support

Mr. Wiederman was ecstatic about joining the New Suffolk Common School faculty at the beginning of the 2016-2017 school year. In addition to his background in technology which was acquired over many years of running a successful computer consulting company, he also maintains a professional certification in 7-12 social studies. This characteristic gives him a greater perspective of the importance of technology for both the educators’ professional growth and their students’ acquisition of content in the classroom.

Mr. Wiederman and his wife, Arline, live in Southold where they raise their son, Robert, and daughter Ellie. He has served in the past as the 1st Assistant Chief of the East Marion Fire Department where he still remains an active firefighter.
