Peconic Landing runs an extraordinary program called The Lifetime Learning Program and  they reach out to schools all over Long Island, bringing with them the Dictionary Project.

Joe McKay, the "The Dictionary Man", presented the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders with their very own personalized dictionaries!

The students were in awe of learning about the longest word! It has 1,909 letters! Say that three times fast!
